"Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts. Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me... Anything can happen, child. Anything can be." - Shel Silverstein
This is so AWESOME!! Marissa is WALKING!!! Yeah!! WoooHooo!! Yippey Skippy!! It's hard to believe she's 20 months old today and she's walking very WELL! Give her a big hug and kiss from Nana & PaPa and tell her how proud we are of her. Love to all.....Nana
Watch this again and keep an eye on Marissa's face when Alicia asks her if she is going to walk into the kitchen. Marissa hesitates and looks as though she's contemplating, "Am I going in the kitchen? Well I don't know. I guess I'll try it." Then plop, she decides, "Naw - I don't think so."
What a little champ. All it takes is a couple of times and this kid gets the picture. Can't wait to see her follow you all over the house - FUN FUN FUN. Big Kisses.
Awwe...I had a deal with Miss Rissa!! She wasn't supposed to grow up and do anything without me!!! Ugh....oh well!! I am going to try and make it up someday I swear! Love love love!! Auntie K!
I can't believe the progress in just a few days. Marissa you are the best. (and so are Mommy and Daddy). I love her smile at the end and when she shakes her head - YES I CAN!! Bye Bye to all of you. Keep up the good work all of you. Love Aunt Teri and Uncle Norm
My daughter Marissa was born March 13, 2007. She had a lot of health problems when she was born and ended up needing a tracheostomy to breathe, a g-tube to eat, and heart surgery. She came home after 2 1/2 months and is a very happy little girl. She has given her Dad and I plenty of gray hair, but we love her so much and are thankful for her everyday. C'mon along and enjoy our adventure with us!
