- My daughter Marissa was born March 13, 2007. She had a lot of health problems when she was born and ended up needing a tracheostomy to breathe, a g-tube to eat, and heart surgery. She came home after 2 1/2 months and is a very happy little girl. She has given her Dad and I plenty of gray hair, but we love her so much and are thankful for her everyday. C'mon along and enjoy our adventure with us!

Yep! When the whole world seems to be going on a fast downhill slide into a black hole, you need to find this video and watch it over and over to remind yourself that life is GOOD! You're right....these are the moments that make life all worthwhile. What a talented sweetie!

Thank you for the kind words. I've been lurking for a while on your blog too. LOL Marissa is beautiful. I love the videos of her. It amazes me how spunky she is (and many others, like Faith) with all they've been through. They are my heros!
Hello my family! Did I hear her attempt to say "bye bye"?!?!?! Of course as a speech therapist I pick up on that! So great! Love it! I have something for you by the way! (A little late, but that's ok!)

I forgot to tell you that I love your comments on everyone's blog. YOu always seem to sum up and say just what the person needs to hear. I can hear your comassion. I do love it that we, who all have a common tie--- our kids, can connect and be a family as well. Take Care
How fun! Can Jeremy come a be Faith's music therapist? (We had to cnacel ours...) and Marissa can teach Faith how to rock!
