Unlike My Last Post...

...this post is dripping with sweetness and cuteness. Get ready for many adorable pictures and a couple of videos that should make you smile.

First though, in regards to my last post, I did want to clarify that, if Marissa is sick and waking up in the middle of the night, I am sympathetic. If she is crying and I can't figure out why, I am sypathetic. I know something is wrong with her and she is too uncomfortable to sleep, therefore I can't get upset with her. All of her teeth have already come in, so she is not teething, and she is not sick in any other way. She has just gotten in this really bad habit of waking up way too early and thinking it is time to play. She lays there with eyes wide open and plays. THAT is when I lose my cool.

I wanted to thank you all for your kind and encouraging words on my previous post. We did get sleep, things did get better, and the monster has not reared it's ugly head again since. It is good to know I am not alone when it comes to the frustrations of motherhood. Thanks again from the bottom of my heart.

And now, onto the cuteness...

You all know how I feel about sleeping babies (yes, she may be two, but she still is MY baby!)

First off, looking at all her tubes and wires that has become your normal makes me realize how much you do for her. Hugs to you!! I've never seen anything on your blog about a home nurse? So, that's a lot to shoulder and I commend you!!

Marissa is beautiful. Tell her that I love her clothes and hair styles! She is lucky to have an in-house stylist=)

LOL- I like Dana's comment. SO true. Time for me to start weilding another award!!!

I think you have a little future modle there- what a ham! And very cute, I might add.

I like the pigtails- that's my go-to hairstyle for Faith (it's the only way I can get by without cutting her hair...) I bet Marissa is just as pleasant in allowing you to put them in. ;)

Have a great weekend,
Jen

Love the Princess Lea look--if we could just get her together with my boys, we could really Star Wars it up! Also, the side ponytail is ADORABLE! I'm getting girl hairdo ideas from you....someday Adelyn will have enough hair to fix...someday (then I'm really in trouble!)

P.S Adelyn loved the Veggie Tales clip--I think maybe Marissa has a future on Broadway...

I love your honesty and willingness to be vulnerable for the rest of us to see. It's refreshing how wonderfully awesome you are as a mother and wife! Keep it up girl! God Bless!

Aw, sweet! And, you're so right. I think that is the cutest hair do ever! I actually did that with Lily's hair a couple of weeks ago, and her PT absolutely loved it. Girly hair is so fun!

P.S. I hope you guys are all getting more sleep now. Lily went through a phase where she was waking up ridiculously early (as in before 5 am), but thankfully it was fairly short-lived!
